Rectification: Theory & Practice Five weekly online classes starting 2024, date to be confirmed. Wednesdays 6.30-8.30 pm UK Time
Course information Rectification: Theory & Practice is designed for intermediate and advanced astrological students and practitioners, Student numbers are limited in order to allow full participation, and students are expected to be familiar with natal and forecasting techniques (transits, progressions and solar arc directions) when enrolling.
A knowledge of midpoints is desirable but not essential. Possession of astrological software to assist rectification is recommended, but it is possible to follow the course without this. Classes are held online on Zoom.
The course is based on my previous teaching undertaken for the Faculty of Astrological Studies online and live in London classes.
Course Fee The course fee is £195 payable in full when booking, and this includes lifetime access to class recordings. You will receive the slides too. Click here to book
Course Content You will learn about the philosophical approaches underpinning the importance of the time of birth in astrology, and the practical and theoretical issues that can arise from the practice of rectification. The active role of the astrologer in rectification will be explored in depth.
You will learn how to rectify a birth chart by experimenting with different potential birth times using a list of major life events, how to work through the process and handle interaction with the person via practical case studies in class. Group work forms an essential part of the course and will cover a range of rectification scenarios, from knowing only the birth date and place to rectifying a chart when the birth time is known to within a few minutes. Each presents its own challenges to the astrologer.
Learning this skill will deepen your understanding of astrology and its potential, and provide a valuable adjunct to your existing knowledge. It will also expand the range of consultations that can be offered to your clients if you practise professionally.
All classes will be recorded and you will receive a certificate confirming your attendance, as well as lifetime access to the recordings.
